| Dear Devotees, |
| We are in the process of updating and spicing up our website with more photos and information. Due to some technical glitches, we could not update some of the contents earlier. | The trustees are grateful for all the devotees who participated in the various poojas and ceremonies related to our Kumbha Abishegam in March, 2012. |
| We are approaching the end of 2012. The next year 2013 is an historical year for the Temple as we will be celebrating our Centenary - 100 years of existence of this Temple. The Management will draw up an appropriate programme to celebrate this auspicious occasion along with the 2013 Aadipooram Festival. Construction of a mini-Gopuram for back entrance is in the process of completion. With this, the Rasah temple can complex can be considered complete. The cost of this is expected to be around RM50,000.00 including the artworks. The work is expected to be completed and consecrated along with the 2013 Aadipooram celebrations. Any help from the devotees for this project will be appreciated. |
| In the meantime, the Temple is organising a Maha Chandee Homam in March, 2013. We have in the past conducted two Maha Chandee Homams after each Kumbha Abishegam. This is going to be the third one the series after the 2012 Kumbha Abishegam. This is a big undertaking. The Yagam is to increase the power of Amman and for world peace. There is going to be nine sessions during a five day period. The notice of this Maha Yagam will be posted on the website soon. Each session consisting a group of devotees will cost RM3,500/00. We hope all devotees will support this Maha Yagam so as to enhance the power of our diety, Rasah Amman and get her blessings. |
| May Rasah Amman shower all devotees with her blessings. |

The present Rasah Sri Maha Mariamman Temple started as a small shrine situated near the area where the present Hospital Nurses quarters are located, to cater for the spiritual needs of the South Indian workers residing in a nearby division of Temiang Seremban Estate. According to reports that could be obtained from some of the older members of the community, the deities were made of mortar at that time. Read the full history of the temple here. |

Dharma of Hindus is called Sanatana. It can mean either that their Dharma is of Sanatana nature or that it protects man by making him conscious of his sanatana nature. Sanatana means eternal. The entire world with all its contents, stands fleeting. Everything gets born, passes through changes like growth and decay, and finally dissipates into its original nature and contents. That is why an enquirer is led to think of something eternal, as against the transient things around : "Is there anything anywhere outside or inside, which has the ability to remain unchanged, and which the wavery mind can hold on to at all times under all circumstances?" Until the mind is able to anchor itself firmly on such a changeless entity, it can never deliver itself from its fate in the hands of worldly objects and the life afforded by them. |
